Women’s Business Enterprise Council – South
WBEC South facilitates the nationally recognized and most relied upon certification program, WBENC Certification, for the states of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and the Florida Panhandle. The organization is committee to connecting women-owned businesses with major corporations to facilitate business opportunities. Their mission is to advance and enhance business opportunities between corporations and women-owned businesses through a reputable certification program, education and professional growth opportunities.
Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) – Louisiana
The Louisiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center (LA PTAC) provides specialized and professional procurement technical assistance to Louisiana businesses who are actively seeking and/or performing on contracts and subcontracts with the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal, state and local governments.
Southern Region Minority Supplier Development Council
The Southern Region Minority Supplier Development Council assists major corporations with developing, enhancing their small business utilization programs with an emphasis on ethnic minority lead and operated businesses (MBEs). The organization provides minority-owned businesses with access to corporate contracting opportunities and is the only certifying agency for the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification.

Welcome to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Program (DBE). The DBE program is a federal program operating under the guidance of the United States Department of Transportation. Authorization for the program comes from Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations, parts 26 and 23 (49 CFR 26 and 49 CFR 23).
