    The Urban League of Louisiana presents the Big Health Event along with presenting sponsor Ochsner Health taking place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (Hall J) in New Orleans. This event will promote health and wellness for adults and children to positively impact families in Louisiana. Now in its fifth year, the Big Health Event has become one of the region's most impactful free health & wellness experiences. The event brings together healthcare providers, community organizations, wellness experts, and residents from across Louisiana for a day dedicated to improving health outcomes, increasing access to resources, and empowering individuals and families to take charge of their well-being. Grounded in the theme, From Policy to Promise to Power, Declaration, moves beyond conversation to examine the policies, investments, innnovations, and partnerships required to advance economic opportunity, protect civil rights, strengthen communities and shape a more equitable future for Louisiana.
