Runoff Election Phone Bank

The Urban League of Louisiana is hosting a voter mobilization phone bank as a part of its Wake Up Geaux Vote initiative, a non-partisan, statewide voter education and mobilization effort. Join us in reminding residents across Louisiana to vote in the runoff election! By signing up for November 30th and/or December 1, you will have access to the phone bank between the hours of 3:30-7:30 p.m. You do not need to select a specific time. If you have participated in any of our phone banks before, you will not need to attend a virtual phone bank training. If this will be your first time, we will be provided a training in advance of the phone bank. The Urban League will provide the virtual phone bank platform, a call list, and a script. The platform easily tracks responses and outcomes for the calls and uses an anonymous phone number to protect the volunteers’ privacy. Sign up at https://www.mobilize.us/urbanleaguela/event/363466/

Election Day Volunteer Opportunity

For the important runoff election on December 5th, join the Urban League of Louisiana in getting out on the streets to encourage voters to get to the polls! We will be out at key intersections across New Orleans with lots of energy andnew non-partisan signs, showing our support for voters. Volunteers will need to have their own transportation to and from the various location where we will be set up. After you sign up, we will share more details about locations and logistics.
