    The 2021 GiveNOLA Day will take place Tuesday, May 4 from midnight to midnight. Your donation on GiveNOLA Day will help us continue to be a leading organization in the fight against the challenges of the pandemic as well as assisting African Americans and other communities seeking equity to secure economic self-reliance, parity, and civil rights. Mark your calendars for May 4 and we hope you can help us make a difference!     The Urban League of Louisiana is helping the community mask up to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Drive by for free face mask, hand sanitizer, and other items. This will be the final giveaway.

  • Hurricane Ida Relief Giveaway

    Thrive 9 Community Center 3600 Desire Parkway, New Orleans, LA

    The Urban League of Louisiana, along with Thrive New Orleans, Convoy of Care, PepsiCo, and National Urban League, will provide a Hurricane Ida Relief Giveaway on Saturday, Sept. 18. Drive-ups and walk-ups are welcome. The giveaway will take place from 11am-3pm. Current COVID precautions will be followed. Items will be given away while supplies last including: non-perishable food items, water, baby formula, diapers, clothing, feminine products, cleaning supplies, and tarps.   • 2021 Women’s Empowerment Convening

    In celebration of Women's Entrepreneurship Day, the Urban League of Louisiana's Women's Business Resource Center invites you to attend its inaugural Women's Empowerment Convening - Resilient Through it All on Friday, November 19, 10:00a-12:30pm, sponsored by AARP Louisiana. During this virtual convening, aspiring and existing women entrepreneurs will hear from other female entrepreneurs who who have come from humble beginnings, remained resilient, and continue to grow and scale successful ventures. To make this event an interactive celebration, we are encouraging our panelists and attendees to wear shades of brownand/orpink.Brown is the official color for resilience and pink is the feminine touch. The event will feature Urban League client, Maryam Henderson-Uloho. Maryam is the Founder & Director of SisterHearts Thrifty Collectibles and Decarceration Facility. Mrs. Uloho is a graduate of the ULLA Scale Up! Louisiana program and is the winner of the 2020 Women In Business Challenge.
