We are continuing the conversation we started at our Empowerment & Policy Conference last February, with a focus on preparing for a new school year in the ongoing pandemic. Education advocates, parents, students, educators, Louisiana residents who care about education equity – this conversation is for you! The Louisiana Department of Education is in the process of receiving public comment on new Louisiana Social Studies Standards. This virtual conversation will help you make sense of the new standards, understand why they are important, and help you prepare to offer your own public comment. The Road To Fair Maps
