The Urban League Parent Information Center’s mission is to empower parents to be successful agents and advocates for excellent schools. Through our parent engagement and initiatives, ULPIC responds to the distinct needs of families and community with the ultimate goal of increasing student achievement, excellent schools and an informed community with an active parent base.

Through high volume community events and activities, to tailored workshops, and resources, such as, the Parents Ready to be Involved to Deliver Excellence (PRIDE) Leadership Academy, the New Orleans Guide to High School and Beyond, the New Orleans Guide to Early Childhood Education and Schools Expo, ULPIC assists families in finding the right school for their children in a fair, transparent, and efficient way.
