Resilient Restart EBR: Small Business Micro-grants Program – Application

The Resilient Restart EBR: Small Business Micro-grants program is activated by the CARES Act through the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant Program with an additional infusion of funding from Investar Bank. This program is being administered by the Urban League of Louisiana. Applicants should gather all required documentation prior to starting the application form. Is your business a microenterprise with less than five employees? (Includes independent contractors and self-employed individuals)
Is your business a small business having between 6 and 500 employees?
Is your business at least 51% owned by an LMI individual that resides in East Baton Rouge Parish?
Does your business operate in an LMI census tract in East Baton Rouge Parish?
Is your business in “Good Standing” with the State of Louisiana Secretary of State?
Do you have a business license to operate in East Baton Rouge Parish?
Have you been in operation for at least 12 months? (Prior to March 11, 2020)
Have you had a loss of revenue of 25% or more due to COVID-19 restrictions?
Do you have gross annual revenues of less than $250,000?
Does your business have an active registration on SAM.gov with no exclusions?
Does your business have a DUNS number?
Is your business 51% or more owned by a woman?
Is your business 51% or more owned by a minority?
Is your business 51% or more owned by a veteran or service-disabled veteran?
Does your business provide medical, food delivery, cleaning, and other services to support home health and quarantine?
Does your business manufacture or source Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like masks, gloves, head coverings, and other medical supplies to respond to infectious disease?
Does your business have an existing banking relationship?

1.Been convicted of a criminal offense other than a traffic violation?
2.Been a debtor in bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings in the last seven years?
3.Been a party to any pending lawsuits or outstanding judgements in the past two years?
4.Been delinquent on any taxes in the past three years?
