DESCRIPTION:The Urban League of Louisiana is hosting a voter mobilization phone bank as a part of its Wake Up Geaux Vote initiative\, a non-partisan\, statewide voter education and mobilization effort. Join us in reminding residents across Louisiana to vote in the runoff election! \nBy signing up for November 30th and/or December 1\, you will have access to the phone bank between the hours of 3:30-7:30 p.m. You do not need to select a specific time. \nIf you have participated in any of our phone banks before\, you will not need to attend a virtual phone bank training. If this will be your first time\, we will be provided a training in advance of the phone bank. \nThe Urban League will provide the virtual phone bank platform\, a call list\, and a script. The platform easily tracks responses and outcomes for the calls and uses an anonymous phone number to protect the volunteers’ privacy. \nSign up at https://www.mobilize.us/urbanleaguela/event/363466/
