SUMMARY:Urban League of Louisiana Small and Emerging Business Development Program Roundtables
DESCRIPTION:The Small and Emerging Business Development (SEBD) Roundtables\, based on a shared value for peer-to-peer learning\, seek to help members grow in their business and personal capabilities through monthly roundtable meetings that adhere to PeerSpectives protocols and engage every member fully. \nThe purpose the SEBD Roundtables is to:\n-To develop the roundtable members’ abilities to make excellent decisions in the areas of their business and personal lives.\n-To develop roundtable members’ abilities to make progress in the areas of their lives that lead to exceptional growth—both personally and professionally. \nOur roundtable will use the language protocol as follows:\n-Speak from experience rather than give advice\n-Ask clarifying questions—no interrogation or “telling” others what to do\n-During experience share\, speak from experience \nThe program includes a commitment of 10 roundtable meetings between August 2021 and June 2022. 15-18 SEBD certified businesses will be accepted into the program. Sessions will take place online on Wednesdays\, 1:00pm-4:00pm. Sessions will be held on the following dates:\nWednesday\, August 25\, 2021\nWednesday\, September 29\, 2021\nWednesday\, October 27\, 2021\nWednesday\, November 17\, 2021\nWednesday\, January 26\, 2022\nWednesday\, February 23\, 2022\nWednesday\, March 30\, 2022\nWednesday\, April 27\, 2022\nWednesday\, May 25\, 2022\nWednesday\, June 22\, 2022 \nIn order to participate\, small business owners must be certified as a Small and Emerging Business. \nNot yet SEBD certified?
