The Urban League of Louisiana is pleased to announce that it has been named a recipient of the Cox Charities Equity and Social Justice Award.

“The Urban League of Louisiana is deeply grateful for this award and for the acknowledgement by Cox Charities,” said Judy Reese Morse, President and CEO of the Urban League of Louisiana. “We thank you for recognizing our ongoing commitment to equity and social justice in Louisiana. Advancing policies and practices that address equity and systemic racism is the reason the Urban League began in New Orleans more than 80 years ago. We pledge to continue to confront injustice and inequity on every side and at every level. From policymaking to programming, from education to workforce to entrepreneurship and more, the Urban League of Louisiana will be there as an advocate and champion for equity and social justice.”
