Whether you know it or not, at some point and time you have advocated for yourself, your child, or a friend. Urban League of Louisiana Parent Information Center PRIDE Leadership Academy’s training allows you to enhance those skills, provide the opportunity for professional growth, and to network alongside other parents and community members to address education challenges and policies.
The Academy offers participants an opportunity to learn current education policies and challenges in New Orleans, develop and enhance advocacy skills, develop and execute an advocacy project with the guidance of mentors and Urban League staff. Below are the requirements and expectations.
Attend the Six-Week Training
